We’ve loved the direct-trade coffees from De La Finca’s family farms, so it’s time to introduce their “gold standard.” Finca Santa Lucia, the family’s cornerstone farm, is owned and operated by Raul Rodriguez, grandfather of De La Finca founder Nelson Amador. A third-generation producer, Raul grew up on the farm and inherited it from his father, Don Ermenegildo Rodriguez—a true family legacy behind this exceptional coffee. 

Most of Finca Santa Lucia’s top cherries go into De La Finca’s “Family” lot, but the very best are reserved for this “Reserve” lot. Carefully curated by Raul, it highlights the quality of the Comayagua region, which remains surprisingly underrecognized.
