This is a premium Ecuadorian coffee from Finca Soledad in the Intag Valley, Imbabura, associated with producer Pepe Jijón. “Typica Mejorado” is widely described as a rare Ecuador-grown variety with very floral, elegant profiles; several current sellers describe it with notes like citrus, white florals, tea, stone fruit, and grape/green-fruit character. Recent listings also place the farm around 1,500–1,515 meters and show both washed and natural versions on the market.

One important detail: despite the name “Typica Mejorado,” current seller writeups say genetic work suggests it is not simply an improved Typica, but is closer to a Bourbon × Ethiopian landrace lineage.
